ABOUT ME

Welcome! I hope you enjoy perusing around this site. Who am I? I am a physicist, data scientist, and aspiring machine learning engineer. After obtaining my bachelor’s in physics at Hamilton College, I worked for three years in the semiconductor manufacturing industry on a tool used for capturing nanometer sized defects. The experience working with cutting edge optics, computational imaging, and advanced algorithms for noise reduction inspired me to pursue a master’s in data science. At Columbia I have been specializing in deep learning and computer vision, building on my previous work and passion for photography (somewhere on this site is my photography portfolio, try and find it!).
